FoMMP 50-50 Club
IH Media are very proud to support the Friends of Marple Memorial Park (FoMMP) via the 50-50 Club Lottery.
Friends of Marple Memorial Park are a volunteer community group formed in December 2003 to care for and help make the park in Marple Town Centre a better place for everyone in the Local Community: The group’s aim is to provide opportunities for community members to improve and promote the use, awareness and care of facilities within Marple Memorial Park in order to make it a more welcoming, safe and enjoyable environment for all.
There are several elements to the group’s activities. These include park maintenance, undertaking projects of all kinds to improve the park and its infrastructure, organising events and activities and raising funds to support the group’s aims and objectives.
One of the ways the group raises funds is via their “50-50 Club Lottery Draw”. 50% of funding received each month is paid out to the winners of the monthly draw and 50% is retained by Friends of Marple Memorial Park to help them carry out their work in the Park.
You’ve got to be in it, to win it.
Full details of the FoMMP 50-50 Club and how to take part, can be found here.
IH Media has been a subscriber to the “50-50 Club Lottery Draw” since its conception and is proud to partake in and support the FoMMP in its activities. In November ’23, our allocated number was drawn as a “1st Prize” so we made the decision to donate our winnings to another deserving charity in Marple “New Horizons – Stockport Canal Boat Trust“
