The majority of companies and professionals use domain-based email accounts like info@mydomain.co.uk to maintain a professional image and conduct official businesses.
This article explains how to access your emails using the Webmail software.
What is Webmail?
Webmail is a way to access your email account through a web browser, without downloading any software. This allows you to access your email from any device or location.
If you have a Gmail, Yahoo, or Hotmail personal email address, then you will have used their webmail browser-based software to access those emails. At IH Media, we provide our webmail services to customers using RoundCube.
How to Access Your Email Account Via Webmail
To access your domain email account via our Webmail interface:
- Open your browser and type the address mydomain.co.uk:2096, replacing mydomain.co.uk with your domain name (e.g. ih-media.co.uk:2096).
- Enter your Email Address and Password to sign in to your email account.
If you are accessing your email account using a computer or device you don’t own, it is important for security reasons that you always log out before leaving the device. Additionally, we recommend that on other people’s devices, you log in with the browser in private mode (also known as incognito mode or private browsing mode).
If you have forgotten your password, contact us using your previously supplied “backup email address”. Using an email address that is known to us will help us to verify your identity before resetting your password.
